A Simple Framework Based on Edge.js

Hi everyone, I’ve just released Laman.js, a simple framework that adds file-based routing with Express on top of Edge.js and integrates Vite for easier development. I’ve also built LamanHub, a hosting platform where you can deploy Laman.js projects with one command (npm run deploy), with automatic subdomain and SSL.

I look forward to your feedback!

This looks like a really interesting direction, especially for people who like Express but want a more opinionated structure. File-based routing on top of something familiar lowers the barrier a lot. Pairing it with Edge.js is a nice choice too, since it’s fast and feels modern without being bloated. The Vite integration is probably going to be a big selling point for dev experience. Hot reload and simpler builds matter more than people admit. LamanHub also sounds appealing if the deploy flow is genuinely that smooth. One thing people will likely ask about https://tropical-casino.com/ is how flexible the routing conventions are once a project grows. Another will be how easy it is to eject or customize deeper pieces. Overall though, this feels like a practical tool, not just another abstraction for the sake of it.
